how to resize video to fit youtube screen

guys i took videos on my iphone of a house , im trying to put the videos together into one big video for youtube but on youtube its a portrait video with black on each side and if i do landscape it crops the top and bottom of the video.
how do i get my iphone vertical videos to fit the whole youtube screen in landscape video size ??

Insta not letting me crop video to fit into screen

Hi, when I try to upload a rectangular video to insta, and click the little button with the arrows to make it fit into the square, it works at first, but then when I click through to the next page (Where you can add filters etc.) it changes back to being zoomed in.
Is anyone else experiencing this? It's driving me crazy.

This drives me crazy - and I think this is really the only ticket they have in their request forum... so unless it gets crazy upvotes - who knows if it'll ever happen...

Top Comment: This drives me nuts too. We were playing around with a Meeting Owl camera today and Teams was constantly fighting the auto centering built into the camera. Unless we can make Fit to Window the default, it's going to be hard to sell the Owl as a solution because every user on the receiving end needs to change that setting every time. And not to mention that with a large room camera , the default fill frame cuts off people that would otherwise be in the frame. Our entire team upvoted that request. But given MS' history, it probably won't be implemented anytime soon.
I want to synchronize a fit file with video footage, is possible in kdenlive?

A fit file records several data points per second (Heart rate, GPS position, cadence, wattage through a powermeter...), it's normally used when cycling or running.
I have seen videos where the editor (dashware, the premium version of gopro, the garmin video editor, etc) can sync both, the fit file and the video. Example: https://youtu.be/rmJr5ZrnzrU
I know the video editor can grab some data and insert it through text, but I haven't found a way to feed external data. So it's possible to replicate the overlay data shown in the example with kdenlive?
Top Comment: Dashware is old outdated discontinued software that won't likely work Pretty sure the Garmin Editor is also discontinued. The "premium" version of GoPro Quik will only work with GPS data captured from GoPro cameras, it will not support external devices. You may want to look at "Telemetry Overlay" instead. There should be a trial version available to see if it supports your "Fit file". If not, contact the developer, he may ask you for some sample files and work to integrate it into the software for a future build. Anyone just reading the headline and getting angry immediately - it does seem from the article like perhaps there were other reasons he was let go. Like the fact that many customers jobs had to be redone after it was found they had been done improperly. Or the fact that one mechanic had jobs done badly in his name whilst he was on holiday.
